    I live in Lafayette, LA and drive to Baton Rouge for service. Inevitably, any breakdowns I have had with my conversion equipment has taken two visits; the first for a diagnosis and the second for repair work, and spans 2-3 weeks. I don’t recall having the repair done on the first visit because needed parts are not in stock. Getting in for an appointment is based on the company’s convenience and schedule, not mine, “the customer.” I will no longer accept these service conditions. I am ready to replace my 10 year old conversion van and have decided for certain not to purchase through Superior Van. I am a quadriplegic with a fulltime job and don’t have the luxury to use another vehicle for transportation. This current breakdown is expected to last about two weeks. Initial contact around 1/5/2017; first appointment 1/11/17 resulted in diagnosis but parts not in stock; Next appointment to repair 1/19/17. Superior Van’s customer service is embarrassingly woeful. I know about customer service because I am CFO for a large auto retail dealer group in the Lafayette area. This review doesn’t include hardly anything about sales because I wasn’t ever seriously approached and worked while waiting for service. How does Superior Van make money if their core business is sales and service and I am not worked by anyone to get me into a new unit? Wow! Only way for me to buy a vehicle from Superior Van is for all maintenance and repair work to be done at my convenience on my property, which means the service tech will have to do house calls. I am willing to speak to someone at the corporate office to continue a relationship.

    i have never been treated this bad before. I went to the Louisville ky office where they were to put hand and brake control on like I had since 1991 and this office or place had always done it and did a fantastic job in the past. but this time I found the place had change everyone wasn’t as friendly like in the past but I thought maybe they were having a bad hair day like most of us do so I wrote it off. anyway we had to wait 4 hr with that was normal. here is where thing got interesting they first said the man putting the control in had a problem then they wanted me to sign paper that it was finish. I told the lady I would like to test drive to make sure it was in there the way they were suppose be. the lady told me I could not test drive until I payed in full and sign the papers plus we were no allow leave the building including the young man who drove me up there and a member of my church. I informed her the dealership I purchase the truck from was handling that part of it for it was worked into the deal of the truck. she said regardless you are not getting out of here until you pay for it today. so I call the dealer the sale person and they to could not believe it either for the dealership have done business before with them and never had a problem. to make a long story short we finally work it out, I finally got to test it out and found out it had to go back into the shop to be readjusted. these people tried to smooth thing over by saying there were people who drove off with out paying. well I did not buy their excuse because they had installed my hand and brake control since 1991 and I always payed for the work they did. this company treated me as if I was a thief. it sad how company are getting these days they don’t care if you ever come back again all they care about is the almighty dollar bill. I have decided to find some other company to install my hand control in the future for they should have told me we don’t want your business and I would not had to get a person from my church to drive over 81 miles for hand control. plus something happen to my truck while there for the next day my truck had to go in the shop electric problem.

    Will, Jeremy & Melinda are awesome! All were helpful and knowledgeable.. answered all of our questions. Will & Jeremy even delivered the van to my work.. full of gas.. because I wasn’t able to be off. We love the van. I bought the extended warranty just in case. The only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is because they weren’t able to lower the price not even a little bit. I’d have felt better if they’d have given me at least $100 off.. makes ya feel like you get a better deal if you’re able to haggle a little and with a down payment of $25,000 I guess I expected it. They did include the new tie downs which i appreciate. Thanks guys!

    The people were all great and professional.
    The problem was fixed,on time, and at the agreed price. What more could you want?
    Except less cost.

    GREAT people but our experience was unfortunately less than perfect when buying our new BraunAbility van, some of the issues experienced were definitely out of the control of the staff at Superior Van and Mobility the staff however went out of their way to insure everything was fixed to get us on our way. I have and I still will definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a mobility vehicle or repairs on their existing vehicle.

    The employees @ Sup Van have gone that extra mile out of their way to ease the transition process and make the mobility process more easily attainable. They have offered suggestions to address and to facilitate areas of concern. I have also been impressed with their involvement in community activities and their sponsorship of activities@ Rehab Hospital of Ind. I look forward to continued conversations. Kathy / jim Beck

    A Great. Big Thank you, to Superior Van & Mobility at Lexington KY. We were traveling to the State Special Olympics. We had got out of the van, ramp went up, but the door wouldn’t slide shut. We pushed, pulled, shook, and pressed buttons. Good thing we stopped at Cracker Barrel,Yum-O!!
    I called Lexington’s Superior Van & Mobility. Advised them of our situation.
    They had a van we could rent for our Important weekend. We had to have rental back before noon Monday. I figured on a very long wait. When we arrived, repairs completed and it was ready to head back home. I am a very satisfied customer, I will drive the extra miles for repairs when necessary.

    when I first wrote I had a bad experience when they put in my hand controls to the point I had to put it in the shop plus i was treaded like I was a thief but when rob the general manager heard about what happen to me he was not happy to say the least. he called me personally and said he was sorry about what happen and he told me he would make it right and he did, he show me that superior van and mobility cared about their customers and promise me that it would not happen to anyone again. Rod show me that the customer come first in his place of business and that each and everyone will be treated with respect. with that I will do business next time with superior they are the best company you could ever find

    Rear loading chair lift was lowered without trouble, then failed to function. Stranding me in my garage. I was unable to identify what was wrong. Called Superior Van & Mobility since they had installed it originally. Response was quick in coming, accurate in discovery of the problem caused by a broken wire, corrected the problem, and thereby enabling my mobility again. I appreciated the speed of repairs, and the politeness of agent.

    The team in Fishers, Indiana were awesome to work with in helping me to find a replace Qstraint replacement strap needed. We have used Superior alot in the past and they are great with repairing our lifts. I would definitely recommend them to others.

    Calvin was really great to work with. He made everything about the purchase very clear and he is very friendly to work with. I traveled to purchase a van and we had a really great time during the transaction. He is an asset to the company.
