    After comparing several travel insurance plans, I found the coverage was exceedingly better and the cost was much less. I hope if I need to file a claim, I will be just as satisfied. I also chose Generali based on the reviews which were excellent.

    The Generali web site makes it easy to compare the details of their various plans. It is also fairly easy to compare it with plans from other companies.

    We are possibly more focused than the average person on medical coverage when travelling outside the USA. I was glad to find that the medical options were excellent.

    Inital purchase of the policy went quite smoothly. The options available and the associated costs were stated clearly. Have not traveled yet (or filed a claim), so I can’t comment on that aspect of their service.

    I insured my sporting RHIB in 2016 with Generali via Brokmar. Now in 2022 my boat is still fully covered. Sadly the boat was stolen last October 2021 and both Brokmar and Generali teamed up in order not to pay me. My boat was perfectly stored inside my property, fully alarmed and locked with its trailer having a double antitheft devices. Brokmar lied to us as so did Generali who refused to settle on no legal grounds at all and for no reason at all. We have taken Generali to court where they will have to settle with all legal fees and a 20% increase. To be truthful I would be extremely careful with this sort of Insurance Company. The have NOT SETTLED THEIR DUES.

    Easy to get a quote, IMPOSSIBLE to make a Claim. Buy from another company , if you have a claim you won’t be able to collect or speak to the claim adjuster. Left several messages and a couple of emails. Assume most people give up.

    My wife required medical attention while we were in Paris and we could not reach Generali by phone for assistance. Upon our return, we could not get any help from customer service
