On visiting Mallards in Nottingham to get valuations for insurance for a few items I was taken to a private room to discuss my jewellery and I was advised the items to be assessed at the Birmingham assay office, given receipts for the goods and that I would be contacted in due course of the cost for the certificates.
I then mentioned I was possibly looking for a pre owned watch. I was accompanied to the window and several were pointed out to me, I selected a watch which was perfect! I purchased the watch and was informed of the 1 year guarantee & a possible diamond upgrade.
I was served by Judith, she was very helpful & extremely polite and the 2 other members of staff were also lovely-despite being busy with other customers.
Great visit, I shall recommend as I have several friends that are watch collectors!

My partner and I had a clear out of all our old gold that we were never going to use and took it to the Southend branch for evaluation. All the staff were very friendly and we got a great price for our rings etc. Dave and the girls are very knowledgeable and professional but at the same time friendly and we would definitely go back again.
